Election Thoughts

This election has not yet complete its primaries, but I see some trends starting to show up. John McCain was the best choice for the Republican party when it comes to winning the general election. Two the Democrats are on the verge of nominating a cannot win candidate. As of now I have three reasons for this and I am aure there are more coming.

#1 Obama and his pastor are not a dead issue yet. It has been melted away for the moment, but it will be back in the general elelction and he has a lot of explaining to do. He is going to have to explain why he stayed at that church again. This will not play out well for him. When one researches one  of the founders of his church you come to a man by the name of Cohen, I believe is his name. I have read some of his work and it contains thoughts like this. Jesus is for the black man because the white man has wronged the black man, but if Jesus is not for the black man Jesus must be killed.

#2 In the mid 1990's (1996 to be more accurate I believe) Obama stated that he wanted to get rid of all guns. Saying you are against Conceal carry is one thing. Getting rid of all guns is another.

#3 He does not want a child to be "punished" by having a baby. He has also stated that if a fetus survies a late stage abortion the baby does not have a right to life.

All three of these views are way outside the mainstream of this country. Obama will have a very hard time carry PA and Michigan with these views. There are other "Blue" States that will come into play. I look at Minnesota and Wisky as two others.

Not only are these views radical it helps stir up the Republican ground game. The right to life people will be going out there because Obama would be the most radical president ever on abortion.

The NRA and Gun owners will be out there, he would be the most radical anti gun owner President ever.

Also he would have come from the most radical church a President has come from.
